I was recommended Maxies Salon from my daughter’s teacher and I am so happy I gave them a shot. There is definitely no shortage of hairdressers in the area, but I was looking for someone who could cut and style curly thick hair well! I have not had a proper haircut in YEARS!! I even used to live off 1660 and never knew they were there! I am not much further away now but this is truly a hidden gem hidden in a gas station plaza. Paloma was so sweet, professional and cut my hair exactly how I asked. I had long unruly curly thick hair that hadnt need style for some time… and she pulled off the long bob that I asked for! I am so happy!! Everyone in the shop was friendly and clean! Not to forget about mentioning very affordable for my wallet. I will definitely be taking my girls back soon for their cuts!! Maxie was not available for my usual cut so Paloma took care of me. I am letting my silver grow in and Paloma gave me some silver and white highlights that are beautiful! Cut was spot-on! She did a fabulous job!!

I'm relatively new to the area, so my first time to visit Maxie's was based on the proximity to my house more than anything else. Well, from the first moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a friendly hello. After getting to know Maxie and her staff, I can't tell you how nice and professional they are...Oh yeah, the haircut was fantastic too! I highly recommend.

Maxie is terrific! Her shop is great and everything is clean and pleasant. She gives a great cut and color and her bubbly personality makes it all so fun!!!
